Dr. Sanda Moldovan specializes in dental implants and periodontics. She graduated from the School of Dentistry of the Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio in 2001. She continued her studies in the Department of Postgraduate Periodontics at UCLA, concurrent with a Master of Science in Oral Biology.
After she completed her postgraduate program, Dr. Moldovan accepted a lecturer position at UCLA School of Dentistry. Today, she provides dental implant lectures in the Continuing Education Department of the UCLA School of Dentistry and the Global Institute for Dental Education (gIDE).
Dr. Sanda Moldovan is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology, a dedicated periodontist with a warm personality and a distinct caring attitude. Through UCLA, she continues to stay involved and up to date with the latest research and technology available in her field.
On a Personal note, Dr. Moldovan emigrated from Romania at the age of 14. She enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and scuba diving. Her grandmother taught her to oil paint and which she still loves to do in her free time.
Dr. Chrystal Lia Fernandez is a Registered Nurse (RN), Scientist (MS), Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a voracious student of human nature. Member of American Society for Plastic and Surgical Nurses, Dermatology Nurses Association as well as Cambridge Who's Who. Recently featured on Entertainment Tonight and featured on cover in LA Daily News.
Chrystal has many years of extensive experience in same day aesthetic procedures, which include: Age reversing Laser and IPL treatments, Advanced injectables such as Botox®Cosmetic, Radiesse™ Restylane™, Sculptra™ as well as Chemical Peels and Skin Care. Due to Chrystal's knowledge of laser, laser application and skin care, she is a Clinical Consultant/Trainer in the hands-on instruction of cutting edge laser technology to hundreds of plastic surgeons dermatologists performing full body and facial aesthetic treatments each year.
Having recognized the impact and power of a beautiful smile, Dr. Chrystal Fernandez joined Dr. Dell Goodrick who is a leader in cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Goodrick recognizes the value of additional aesthetic procedures. "Facial aesthetics and smile design go hand in hand", states Dr. Goodrick, "Their power is in their subtlety and the increased self confidence of the person."
Heather is a Registered Dental Assistant who's grace and beauty, as well as her kind and gentle nature oversees the front office as well as coordinates patient's treatment and appointment times. She has been working in the dental industry for 15 years and has extensive knowledge of dental insurance benefits as well as back office protocol. It is her goal to ensure every patient receives the finest service in the utmost caring environment.
Kathy is one of the nicest people in the world. She has the innate ability to make everyone around her feel special. She started as an intern in 1997, completed her Registered Dental Assistant training and even became a clinical radiology instructor for the Clarita Career College, teaching dental students how to take x-rays. Her superior skills and attention to detail are apparent in all she does. She keeps current in all aspects of dentistry by insisting Dr. Goodrick take her to many of his continuing education workshops (she has even done root canals). For these reasons she is an indispensable part of the team and a joy to spend time with.
Kelly joined our team in October 2006. She received her training at The Bryman School for Dental Assisting in 1980. Kelly worked as a chairside assistant in Orthodontics for several years and then became a Radiographic Technician and began working for an x-ray lab in Santa Clarita specializing in Orthodontic x-rays. After taking time off to raise a family of two boys and a girl, it was our good fortune to have her return to dentistry. In our practice, you will see Kelly's radiant smile in both the front and back office as she endeavors to make your visit special.
Tiffany joined our team in 2006 as our hygienist. Her training at Taft College is complimented by an extensive background in healthcare. Tiffany is certified by the Academy of Laser Dentistry to use our Diode Laser and has completed Advanced Periodontal Instrumentation sponsored by the California Dental Association. Tiffany is excited to be part of our team to provide comprehensive patient care and non-surgical periodontal treatment in our innovative hygiene department.
